You’re invited to join a welcoming space where learning becomes a form of solidarity and advocacy.
CMP is pleased to begin the new year with the return of our Palestine Book Club, held on the first Saturday of each month. This initiative is proudly co‑sponsored with Faculty for Palestine (Manitoba), Students for Justice in Palestine – University of Winnipeg, and Peace Alliance Winnipeg.
Hosted at the University of Manitoba and guided by Joel Troenko-Doerkson, our book club brings together students, community members, and anyone eager to deepen their understanding of Palestinian history, identity, and liberation. Each session offers thoughtful discussion, critical reflection, advocacy, and a chance to connect with others committed to justice.
Whether you’re new to the topic or have been engaged for years, this is a welcoming space to read, learn, and grow together. You are also welcome to join to listen to the discussion (without having read the book.)
