Gaza and the West Bank

CMP proudly supports numerous charitable organizations providing aid to Gaza and the West Bank, and collaborates closely with Islamic Relief Canada. During times of extreme crisis, such as a Level 5 famine in Gaza, financial support from individuals becomes a lifeline for those facing starvation and displacement.

When donations are sent consistently, they help sustain critical relief efforts—providing food, clean water, medical care, and shelter to families in desperate need. Regular giving ensures that aid can be delivered swiftly and reliably, even as conditions worsen. It also strengthens long-term recovery, helping communities rebuild and prepare for future emergencies. In the face of widespread suffering, ongoing generosity isn’t just helpful—it’s a powerful act of solidarity and humanity.

Refugees in Canada

CMP is deeply committed to providing meaningful social support for Palestinian refugees as they begin their new lives in Canada. Our services are designed to foster a sense of belonging, dignity, and empowerment through culturally sensitive engagements, community mentorship, and access to essential resources. From helping families navigate housing and healthcare to offering language support and trauma-informed care, we strive to create a welcoming environment where individuals can heal, connect, and thrive. We believe that every newcomer deserves the opportunity to rebuild with hope—and we walk alongside them every step of the way.

CMP supports the ongoing initiatives in Winnipeg, Manitoba by the Manitoba Islamic Association (MIA) and Canadian Muslim Women Institute (CMWI) as they continue to provide assistance to newly arrived refugees from Gaza. Please contact MIA at mia@online.org or CMWI at contact@cmwi.ca to financially contribute to their efforts.

Self Care

During times of genocide, when communities are torn apart and unimaginable trauma unfolds, prioritizing mental health and self-care becomes not just important—but essential for survival. The psychological toll of violence, displacement, and loss can be overwhelming, and no one should face it alone. Seeking help is a courageous act, not a sign of weakness. Whether through counseling, community support, or simply finding moments of peace amid chaos, caring for your mental well-being is a vital step toward healing and resilience. We urge everyone affected to reach out—there is strength in connection, and support is always deserved.
